Storage:
Boy Toy dolls can safely be stored on any smooth, padded surface, either sitting or lying down. As an example, you can store your doll on a common chair, provided the surface of the chair is not textured, or you can put a smooth pillow on the chair if it has a textured surface. Your doll can also be stored on a bed in a reclined position. The idea is not to store the doll on anything that has a rough surface, as the texture of the surface could transfer to the doll over time.
Cleaning:
The body of the doll can be cleaned with a mild soap and warm water as needed. You can safely submerge your doll in a bathtub for short periods if desired. Powder your doll with talc or baby powder to eliminate stickiness after drying. Boy Toy Inserts can be cleaned with warm water and a small amount of antibacterial soap. We recommend cleaning the inserts separately from the doll body. Dry all parts thoroughly before replacing them in the doll.
Changing the face on your doll:
When changing or replacing the face on your doll, tilt the head back and place the face over the skull. The magnets will usually fall into place easily; Check all of the magnets to assure that they have all seated. After this is done, tuck the jaw of the face between the neck and the skull of the doll.
Tucking the jawline will assure that the face is correctly in place, and may be necessary occasionally to adjust the position of the face. If the jawline has not been tucked, the face will appear distorted.
Replacing or changing the eyes:
The eyes can be placed in the sockets of your doll once the face is in place.
Replacing the eyelids
The eyelids can be inserted over the eyes once they are in place. Water based lubricant can be used to help them slide into place.
Removing/replacing the mouth insert:
The mouth insert will usually come out easily by simply pulling on it. If the magnets that hold it in place are resisting, a small flathead screwdriver can be used to aid in removing the insert.
Removing/replacing the pelvic insert:
The pelvic insert can be removed by reaching around the outer labia and grasping the edges of the insert inside of the body cavity. Make sure and hold onto the thicker part of the insert when doing this, rather than pulling on the lips of the insert.
To put the insert back into the doll, use both hands to form a wedge and slowly work it back into the body. Use water based lubricant to help the insert slide easily back into place.
